Terms of Use
Last updated: August 20, 2026
By downloading or using Deadbolt (the "app"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
License
Deadbolt grants you a personal, non-transferable license to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, in line with the App Store Terms of Service and Apple's Standard End User License Agreement, which applies to this app.
Subscriptions & billing
- Deadbolt is free to download with core features. Deadbolt Pro is an auto-renewing subscription (approximately $4.99/month or $29.99/year; the exact price and any free trial are shown in the app before you buy and may vary by region).
- Payment is charged to your App Store account at confirmation of purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription any time in Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions on your iPhone.
Acceptable use
Use the app only for its intended purpose — managing your own screen time. Do not attempt to reverse-engineer, resell, or misuse the app.
No guarantee
Deadbolt is a focus tool, not a medical or clinical service. It is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We work to keep it reliable, but we don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Deadbolt is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the app.
Changes
These Terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
